Saawariya Impex Private Limited, an Indian Company, has launched its latest mobile, under the brand MAFE, Mafe AIR 4G at Rs. 3,999/-. A month earlier, the company has launched another mobile under Rs. 4599/-.

About Mafe Mobiles:

Mafe Mobiles is a Indian Company which claims to have sold more 25 lacs mobile handsets from inception and has over 650 service centers and more than 400 distributors.

The mobile is priced at Rs. 3,999/-

Launch Offers:

The mobile will not be an exclusive offering and will be available in the stores of flipkart, snapdeal and shopclues. The mobile will also be available in more than 14,000 retail stores.

The mobile will be available in two different colors: Champagne Gold and Coffee.

Specifications:

Display, Operating system and processor:

The mobile has 4 inch FWVGA display with normal resolution of 800×480 pixels.

The mobile comes with Android Nougat. It has Spreadtrum Quad-Core processor running at 1.3Ghz clockspeed. The mobile has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 32GB with the help of an micro sd card.

Camera:

The mobile comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front shooter.

Battery and other details:

The mobile comes with 2000 mAh Li-on battery which is claimed to last 10 hours of talktime and 22 hours of standby time. The mobile weighs just 120g and is 10.7 mm thick

Other features of the mobile include GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-fi, Hotspot, 4G enabled, gravity sensor and proximity sensor and FM radio. Also the mobile comes with 21 languages support.

Opinion:

Having 4G enabled and Android Nougat is a good mobile under the 4000/- price range. In fact, its Mafe’s previous launch, Mafe Shine M810, had Android Marshmallow at the price of Rs. 4,599/-.

As far as the competition is concerned, most of the competitor are of domestic brand like Swipe Konnect Star, Rs. 3,333/- which comes in Marshmallow and has 1.3 MP front camera.
